XL BULLY
Grooming Policy
To comply with UK law and to ensure safety, the following applies to all XL Bully (type) dogs booked for grooming services.
The owner must provide the following before an appointment:
- A valid Certificate of Exemption
- Proof that the dog is microchipped
- Proof of neutering
The dog must wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead while entering, exiting or moving through public or common areas.
A 1-to-1 groomer to dog handling will be maintained. We will not groom/work on more than one XL Bully at a time.
We will schedule XL Bully appointments when the salon is empty, with longer appointments provided to ensure there is no interaction with any other dogs.
A temperament assessment must be carried out before full grooming begins. If the dog is aggressive or unsafe, we refuse the right to terminate or refuse the service. We will follow all safety and handling procedures as trained to do so and emergency protocols are in place.
All required documentation will be kept on file and owners must provide them on request by the groomer or the authorities.
